Cold-weather Shelter:
Clothing committee:
- Shelter operations assistants (2)
- Rise and Shine operations assistant: Schedule, coordinate and oversee teams serving breakfast and cleaning up: 6-9am
- Laundry coordinator: Schedule laundry pickups check linens to assure adequate supply 8-9am
- Management Information System – data entry assistants (2): Enter information in computer system; can be done flexible hours
Food committee:
- Clothing drive assistant: Assist clothing chair.
- Clothing room attendants (4) when shelter is open 6-10pm.
- Inventory assistant: Assist clothing chair.
- Sorters: on call.
Communications:
- Inventory assistants (2): Track food donations flexible hours.
- Food drives assistant: Assist with scheduling and possible pick up.
Finance committee:
- Press release coordinator: Prepare press releases as requested and approved by communication chair – flexible hours, computer skills needed.
- Correspondence assistant: Assist communication chair with correspondence, computer skills needed, flexible schedule.
- Data base assistant: Enter/update volunteer contact information, computer skills needed, flexible schedule.
- Photographer: Take photos at events.
- Outreach office assistants (4): Outreach office staffing minimum 2-hour shift: Answer phone, office duties.
Fund raising:
- Grant writer needed.
- Event coordinator: Manage/coordinate event involves working with event head and communications chair. Must be highly organized and able to multi-task and handle fast paced event situation.
- Event coordinator assistant.
